Ticket Options

What are all of the options for tickets to Walt Disney World?

Base Ticket

A base ticket gives you admission to one of the parks (either main parks or water parks) for one day. You can purchase multiple day base tickets which gives you a discount from the daily base ticket price, however, even with a multiple day base ticket you only get admission to a single park for a single day.

Water Park and Sports Option

You can visit one park each day of your ticket plus you get a certain number of visits to other parks such as water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Oak Trail Golf Course, or miniature golf. This option allows you to visit a park and more!

Park Hopper Option

You can visit more than one main park per day of your ticket. You add this option to a base ticket that you purchase. You must have a base ticket before you can apply this option. You can visit as many of the main parks you want in a single day.

Park Hopper + Option

You can visit more than one main park per day of your ticket plus a certain number of visits to a water park, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Oak Trail Golf Course, or miniature golf. You add this option to a base ticket that you purchase. You must have a base ticket before you can apply this option. You can visit as many of the main parks you want in a single day.

Lightening Lanes

Want to skip the lines for rides at any Walt Disney World park? If you are staying at a Disney World Resort you can purchase one of these Lightening Lane options 7 days before the first night of your stay. Each option allows you to enter the Lightening Lane at the selected ride, attraction, or show and stand in a much shorter (or maybe no) line instead of the Stand By line which may be long.

Lightening Lane Multi Pass

For each day of your trip you can select an arrival window for up to 3 experiences. You can modify your selections as well. Once you redeem a multi pass experience (i.e. ride the ride) you can make another selection and have up to 3 passes at any given time. If you have the Park Hopper Option for your ticket you can make selections in another Walt Disney World theme park after you have used your first pass. Each park has multiple tiers of experiences and you can only choose one out of your 3 to be from tier 1. Make sure to look at which experiences are in each tier at each park, this does change often. You pay one price to use multi-pass all day.

Lightening Lane Single Pass

Each park has a few top experiences that are not available on Multi-pass, instead they are only available as a single pass. You select an arrival window for that experience just like you do for each experience in the multi-pass. You can purchase only one single pass per experience and you pay based on the experience and demand for that attraction.

Lightening Lane Premiere Pass

You purchase Premier Pass for a single park per day and you can use it on any experience that has a Lightening Lane without selecting an arrival window. You can only use the pass one time on each experience for that day.

MagicBand+

MagicBand+ at Walt Disney World is an innovative wearable technology that enhances your park experience. With features like contactless entry, personalized interactions, and the ability to link your reservations, it makes navigating the magic seamless. Plus, it lights up and vibrates during special experiences, adding an extra layer of excitement to your adventure. You can use MagicBand+ to unlock your resort room, enter the park, and use Lightening Lanes. There are a number of cool designs you can choose from. You do need to pay for MagicBand+ and can purchase them from Disney before your visit or purchase them during your visit.
